The Bee Queen

  Found this paper called Toned Tan when they stopped selling pads of kraft paper at my store. It's smoother & more archival. First did a paper bag sketch of the Bee Queen long ago , always meant to come back. Weird. She's become far too voluptuous for her vestigial wings to provide flight , & I don't know why she bathes in honey. I still like drawing her a lot , no matter what.
